The Seventies
In the 1970's, the family tradition came to Canada when the Kazulins moved to Vancouver British Columbia where Velko and his son Tony set up shop. The MISTRAL was launched as the first in the KAVALK line of luxury speedboats. In 1986, Kavalk's new CONTINENTAL line made their debut at the Toronto Boat Show to an overwhelming response, and soon became the most popular upscale runabout in the Muskoka region of Ontario. The Kazulin's unique and original blend of modern technology and classic design expressed in their tradition of fine craftsmanship attracted more customers and international interest.

The Eighties
In 1987, upon listening to a customer suggestion for a special runabout in the spirit of the Canadian gentleman racer, the Kazulins designed and created the CLASSIC. The boat premiered at the Toronto Boat Show in 1988; went on to sell internationally, and became a contemporary classic.

In 1989, the Kazulins started exporting their boats to the USA, Japan and Europe. In Japan, the Kavalk Classic was displayed alongside her newly launched big sister, the SPORTCRUISER, a large twin engine runabout.

"The Kazulin Family involvement in boatbuilding dates back more than seven generations and the heritage is evident."

Kazulin Now
Today our Kavalks can be found worldwide and their high resale value is testimony to the Kazulin Family tradition of craftsmanship, design and innovation. Evolution is a continuous process and in the early 2000's a large single engine runabout, the ADRIATIC, was designed, prototyped and put into production.
